About the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals)

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are an international framework adopted at the United Nations Summit in September 2015, with targets to be achieved by 2030.
They comprise 17 goals and 169 targets aimed at ending poverty and creating a sustainable society. Businesses, governments, non‑profit organizations and other stakeholders are expected to work together to implement this agenda.

Promoting eco-friendly guest room cleaning

To help protect the global environment, we offer an eco-cleaning service for guests staying multiple nights, with your understanding and cooperation.
By reducing the energy used for cleaning and laundry, we aim to lower CO2 emissions together with our guests. Full cleaning is available upon request.

What we do:
Replace towels, replenish amenities, and remove trash

General room cleaning, bathroom cleaning, or bed-making and sheet changes”

Reducing plastic in guest amenities

At WHG Hotels, we provide toothbrushes made from 100% plant‑based, biodegradable biopolymer. We kindly ask guests to bring their own toiletries — including toothbrushes — when possible to help reduce plastic waste.

Universal Room

The route from the entrance to the guest rooms is completely level and step‑free, ensuring barrier‑free access.
We offer universal/accessible rooms, welcome assistance dogs throughout the property, and have wheelchairs available upon reques

Water dispensers installed to reduce plastic waste.

As part of our efforts to reduce plastic waste, we have discontinued the practice of providing complimentary bottled mineral water in guest rooms and have instead installed purified water dispensers on each guest room floor.

Coffee

WHG Hotels supports the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) in its mission to eradicate hunger and poverty and is participating in the “Red Cup Campaign” through its original coffee.
A portion of the proceeds from this product is donated to underprivileged children suffering from hunger.

LED/Energy Saving

We are contributing to the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions by installing LED lighting in all guest rooms and actively implementing energy-saving measures in back-of-house areas.
